Aluminum Extrusion Design Seminar: Designing
for Performance
The 2003 Aluminum Extrusion Design Seminar was held
at the Hilton Chicago O’Hare Airport Hotel in Chicago, Illinois,
on October 28 and 29, 2003. The program was designed to provide real-world
solutions to the challenges of aluminum extrusion design. Product designers,
design engineers, outside sales persons, and die personnel were among
the participants. Evaluations from attendees included comments as follows:
“Good and informative sessions. Thanks … something that needs to be done more often. All information was great
and I identified areas my company can improve our business. Great job!”
“Excellent workshop. Very knowledgeable speakers. Very informative!"
The seminar sessions were conducted by industry experts who understand
extrusion design and production processes. These experts offered the technical
knowledge and practical experience required to assist participants with
honing their design skills, thereby minimizing die corrections.
