The goal of the International Aluminum Extrusion Design Competition is to promote the understanding and use of extruded aluminum profiles, as well as to highlight innovations and recognize excellence in aluminum extrusion design.

Extraordinary Path for Students Beginning Their Careers and Seasoned Professionals Alike

Selected students, professionals, and their designs will get exposure to worldwide industry specialists as outstanding designs from the 2008 and other Design Competitions will be displayed at the aluminum extrusion industry's most respected and anticipated event—the Ninth International Aluminum Extrusion Technology Seminar, ET '08, in Orlando, Florida. More than 1,300 industry professionals are expected to attend ET '08 in May 2008. In addition to this extraordinary recognition, winning entries will receive cash awards, including student scholarships and an overall grand prize, all totalling $21,000.
