Late Abstracts for ET'12 Being Considered
Wauconda, Illinois (April 27, 2011) - More than 100 abstracts have been submitted to the ET Foundation for ET ’12—the Tenth International Aluminum Extrusion Technology Seminar and Exposition—scheduled for May 15 through 18, 2012 at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach in Miami, Florida, USA. Submitted abstracts are currently under review by members of the ET Seminar Committee. Although the published deadline for receipt of abstracts was March 14, 2011, authors interested in submitting an abstract for the upcoming ET Seminar still may have an opportunity to do so. “We are continuing to accept abstracts for consideration,” said ET Seminar Committee Chair Jim Sanderson of Aluminum Consulting—James Sanderson Inc. in Huntington Beach, California. “However, at this late date we are being very selective. We do not want to miss any authors who may have important research to share. I encourage anyone who has a paper to be considered for presentation at ET ’12 to send in their abstract right away.”
Authors who wish to submit a late abstract for consideration should do so by May 27, 2011 by following the instructions on the Authors page of the ET ’12 website at www.ET12.org. Authors whose abstracts have been selected will be invited to submit a technical paper based on the approved abstract. Final manuscripts will be due in September 2011.
From practical to theoretical and operational to technical, the ET Foundation is seeking contributions from the international aluminum extrusion industry reflecting a range of issues including, but not limited to:
- Best Practices
- New Techniques
- Product and Market Developments
- Emerging Technologies & Applications
- Alloys & Manufacturing Research
- Sustainability and other Environmental Aspects.
