New Solutions for Packaging Extrusions

To improve the present technical solutions for packing and add alternatives to the technology for protecting extrusions, several innovative completely automated packaging lines for extruded, anodized, and painted aluminum profiles are developed, including:
• The possibility to automatically put a single sleeve around each profile
• Collecting individually protected profiles together, forming a “blister” package
• Automatic application of protective film on the main surfaces of profiles
• Automatic insertion of wooden or plastic battens while automatically forming the main bundle.

All of these processes can be performed at a rate to match the requirements of up-stream production plants.
