Controlling pretreatment using a Human Machine Interface approach and its washer system control advantages are discussed. Total Process Management Systems that provide reliable, detailed collecting, monitoring, and alarming of extrusion washer process data are highlighted, including waste treatment, boiler control, cooling tower control, extrusion press control, on-line documentation, inventory reporting, and remote control.
