Extrusion/Die Theoretical 037 TH Biomechanics in Extrusion Dies Finding a Proper Web Cross-Section in Porthole Dies Regarding Fish Body Ebrahim Pourvali, Hoda Pourvali -- Shaghayegh Co., Iran Proper shape of web cross-section in porthole dies via biomechanics research is presented. Various size fish bodies’ dimensions are analyzed in 3-D, selecting closest overall section dimensions to conventional web of the trial die. Using Finite Element software, web deformation analysis is done on extrusion cycle, and practical test results for AA6063 pipe section in three dies with different web shapes are highlighted. |
