Use of Adaptive Neural Networks (ANN) in the Aluminum Extrusion Process Control

Adaptive Neural Network (ANN) processes high-complexity mathematical concepts associated with non-linear models based on simulating living nervous systems, examining interconnected industrial processes/data. ANN’s application in aluminum extrusion process control of AA6063 and AA6351 alloys is demonstrated, considering effects of pressure, temperature, billet length, etc. Calculated results analyze/predict the relationship between extrusion process parameters and collected industrial data, improving press performance.
