Extrusion Equipment 086 EE New Conveying System in Rapid Gas-Fired Heaters in Combination with Hot Log Shears or Log Welder and Hot Log Saw Willi Johnen – Otto Junker GmbH, Germany An innovative system is presented for conveying aluminum logs through a gas-fired rapid heater with hot log shears via motor-driven cantilevered rollers and a gas-fired rapid heater already built, equipped with a roller conveyor, in combination with a hot saw. Advantages of a log welder combined with a gas-fired rapid heater with hot saw and a conveying system with driven rollers are described. |
