ET '12 Dates and Location Announced; ET Expo Space Available

Wauconda, Illinois (December 14, 2010) - The Extrusion Technology for Aluminum Profiles Foundation (ET Foundation) has announced that the Tenth International Aluminum Extrusion Technology Seminar and Exposition (ET ’12) will be held May 15 through 18, 2012 at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach in Miami, Florida, USA. The ET Seminar, so special it is held just once every four years, is an educational event presenting technical research and information for the aluminum extrusion industry. The seminar addresses a variety of relevant topics, including aluminum profile production, die design and technology, metallurgy, equipment, product applications, and more. The four-day educational event attracts a worldwide audience of more than 1,200 professionals eager to network and discover the latest industry intelligence. A special website has been established for the event at www.ET12.org.

The ET Seminar is known throughout the aluminum extrusion industry as the most important event to attend for its atmosphere of educational and technical exchange. At its core, the ET Seminar is where world-renowned aluminum extrusion experts present ideas, innovations, and improvements in more than 100 top-quality technical presentations—most containing original research not published elsewhere. In addition to providing a forum to present cutting-edge aluminum extrusion research, ET ’12 will include the ET Expo, an exhibition featuring industry suppliers and the ET Showcase, a special exhibit that highlights the best and brightest application designs featuring aluminum extrusions.

The ET Expo gives suppliers the opportunity to connect with a global audience of customers and qualified prospects who are interested in learning about the best and latest technical innovations, products, and services for the industry. In addition, ET Expo gives extruders a forum in which to discuss production and industry issues, as well as find solutions to technical questions and challenges.

The ET Foundation currently is accepting reservations for ET Expo booth space at ET ’12. The ET Expo exhibitor prospectus was mailed in November to previous exhibitors and other aluminum industry suppliers. The first booth assignments will be made beginning January 31, 2011. All exhibitors whose exhibit contract and payment have been received by that date will be assigned space. After January 31, space will be assigned on a first-come, first served basis. To ensure first choice of exhibit space, prospective exhibitors are encouraged to act fast. The ET Expo prospectus, floor plan, and contract/application are available for download at www.ETexpo.org, or contact the ET Foundation at mail@etfoundation.org for more information.
